Kevin and Logan’s Spring Wedding
I think we could all use something beautiful and positive in our lives right now, so let me help ya out! This past weekend we finally got a chance to get back to what we love doing, photographing the most amazing and totally in love couples. Kevin and Logan’s wedding day looked a little different than the original plan. But I’m here to say that their back up plan was GORGEOUS. Logan’s mom made things come together so they could have an intimate garden wedding on Barton College’s campus.
Kevin and Logan knew they wanted to share a first look with each other before the ceremony. So we got it all set up for them and I don’t think there was a dry eye around for this one. Can we talk about how sweet Kevin’s reaction is?!
Afterwards they exchanged rings and vows in an intimate ceremony surrounded by their immediate families.
As I’m sure you all know, because of the coronavirus, gatherings had to be kept to 10 people here in North Carolina. But that didn’t stop some of their friends and family from participating in a special socially distanced way. Logan’s brother, Daniel, organized a surprise car parade with some of their closest friends and family. They had signs, cowbells, and huge smiles for the newlyweds as they drove by honking and celebrating. What a wonderful way to celebrate in these times, I know it meant the world to Kevin and Logan!
Their day didn’t look like the original plan but it’s proof that the goal isn’t a big wedding and fancy reception. It’s about the marriage and commitment made to each other. And I’m so glad they got to start that journey on Saturday despite the many hurdles along the way.
Kevin and Logan, focus on the joy of your new marriage and we’ll see you in October for some drinks and shenanigans at your reception! Thanks for having us along this weekend, we wish you so much happiness in this new adventure!
